Dreaming of the Spanish sun

This is an oil painting I have just completed of a chimney on La Pedrera, a house in Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudi. We visited the city a year or two ago and I was totally bowled over by Gaudi's buildings. I have several photos of this rooftop with so many of these wonderful shapes. It was like being on a different planet. If it didn't take me all afternoon to put just one photo on my blog I would put half a dozen of my Gaudi images on! Why does it take me so long? Each time I do it I seem to have to find a different method! In fact at the moment it seems as though the photo of my painting has disappeared. You may have no idea what I am talking about and I will have to spend another 3 hours redoing it! I am going to press 'publish' now.........AAAAAggggghhhhhh! I'll post anyway and try to put it on separately!
